Strike Group announces acquisition of data specialist EDM

Headquartered in Nieuwegein, EDM has been a trusted data partner to major brands in the mobility sector, hospitality, automotive and the non-profit domain – including clients such as PON Automotive and the Red Cross – offering extensive expertise in data services including data quality, data bridging, and data engineering.

EDM maintains strategic course

EDM will continue operating as an independent agency within the group. Harald Dols: “Nothing will change within EDM. The same expert team, led by Johnny van Gesink, will continue to deliver the same services. What’s new is that EDM clients will now gain easier access to the offerings of our other companies, such as Hummingbird Data Group, GeoInsights, and GuestWave.”

Data validation, location intelligence, and guest identification

Hummingbird Data Group offers, among other things, a platform for international data validation with more than 35 connected countries. “GeoInsights enables data-driven decision-making for selecting, designing, and managing new business and retail locations. GuestWave, another company in the group, helps hotels and vacation accommodations reliably link verified guests to their bookings.

Strike Group does not rule out future acquisitions. “In fact,” concludes Harald Dols, “our growth strategy leaves plenty of room for new acquisitions and partnerships.”
